What did other people think about their stay in York?

We (2 adults and 2 children) stayed for 2 nights in this lovely, spacious, very well equipped and clean apartment and just loved it (the kids wanted to move there). Ben (the manager) was very helpful and communicated well and the little touches (KitKats, milk for hot drinks, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, ample tea and coffee, etc.) was really nice. Quick walk from there into the old centre but not so close that the noise from all the revellers is an issue. Highly recommended.

Spent a great New Year in this lovely apartment in an excellent location. No need to use car as within 5 minutes walk of York city centre. We often stay in York and this has to be one of the nicest apartments in York

Clare Phillips - Holiday apartment York

I spent a couple of nights here just before Christmas with my husband and my elderly parents. We are regular visitors to York and chose to stay here as location to amenities and city centre were important.

We were met at the secure parking by a friendly young lady who escorted us to the apartment and showed us round. The apartment was immaculate, warm, beautifully decorated and did not disappoint.

Beds were very comfortable and living space was perfect.

I must say the delightful Christmas decoration was a lovely festive touch!
Both my parents and husband and I had a very pleasant stay, made lots of happy memories and would definitely recommend this property.

We would most certainly return.
Thank you again.

My partner and I came to stay at centurion square for a weekend stay to visit York. The location of the apartment is perfect and is walking distance to the centre of York which is perfect for shopping and many restaurants in minutes walk away. The self catering apartments in york was very clean and modern. The views of the apartment are breath taking. The double doors from the lounge looks on to the river Ouse. We loved watching the red boat pass daily. The apartment had everything you could possibly need for a weekend away. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend centurion square to anyone coming to stay again. We are hoping to book again and already looking forward to our return. Many thanks. There are so many York City apartments to choose from, we wanted it to be special as it was for my Mum’s 70th Birthday. As soon as I saw the photos of Centurion Square Apartments I booked right away. Upon arriving at the complex my first thoughts were that it was very secure. We had just passed a Sainsbury’s and an array of small shops aside a beautifully cobble stoned road. A polite individual provided us with the necessary keys, a FOB to enter the parking area, the apartment keys and a parking permit. We were guided to our parking space which close to the block that we were staying in, around 10 meters through another secure door to lift. They offered to help with our bags and then showed us to our apartment before disembarking.

Upon entering the apartment we could see that it had recently been painted and decorated, it looked and smelled fresh with a very modern style.. The rooms are large and spacious, and there are some lovely paintings on the wall. The view from the balcony is so much better in person, although I really don’t like heights, my Mother on the other hand loved it. It overlooks a quiet road, the river Ouse and this view can be seen from both bedrooms as well as the Kitchen.

The kitchen comes with everything you could possibly need, a washer/dryer, oven, fridge freezer and dishwasher, it all just makes you feel right at home. We all had a great nights sleep on a very comfortable and clean bed.

As for the location, it is as ideal as it gets. I’m not surea you could be more central to the beautiful City of York. All the main attractions that we wanted to visit were within walking distance such as Clifford’s tower and the Minster. The walk contains a large series of wonderful shops, cafe’s and restaurants. The scenery is beautiful, York City gas so much history to see. One last thing I forgot to mention, the apartment is around a 10 minute walk from the train station for those who do not play to drive.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay which is why I have written such an extensive review, my Mother had a brilliant Birthday to remember and we shall definitely be returning. Thank you Book Apartments in York.
